PRODUCT INFORMATION DATA SHEETS SW2 PROTECTIVE OIL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SW2 Protective Oil is similar to Fish Oils, but without the smell and will penetrate in to difficult to get to areas, were applying paints like POR 15 Rust Preventive Paint or similar are hard or impossible. SW2 forms a water resistant film and is useful in protecting steel from condensation corrosion, as encountered in particular on: Interior of vehicle doors and body panels; chassis hollow sections or trapped recesses. SW2 can also be used as a long term protective film for stored machined parts, casting etc. (Film must be mechanically removed or stripped before use if not required). • Not to be used as a lubricating oil • Not recommended for immersion • FEATURES: Thin penetrating liquid which dries to a non tack film - Water resistant

Storage: Store under cool, dry conditions SURFACE PREPARATION All surfaces must be free of oil, grease, dirt, all loose corrosion and unsound coatings. MIXING AND THINNING SW2 does not require thinning. Use POR15 Thinner for clean up. APPLICATION Method - brush or pressure spray, or wipe on with clean lint free cotton cloth. Where top coating SW2 with other paints, only apply enough SW2 to wet surface. Excess should be removed by wiping off with clean lint free cloth. |
