BUMPER FILLER

Filler for Plastic

DESCRIPTION: Bumper Filler is a flexible two component chemical paste used for filling scuffs and scratches in plastic parts. Bumper Filler can be used as a finishing filler over the cured PlastX A & B adhesives. Bumper Filler has been specially formulated for the professional user and combines high flexibility and adhesion together with ease of application.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Bumper Filler can be used on all plastic provided that the following preparation is undertaken:-

• Abrade the damaged area with 80 grit paper
• Pre-clean - apply degreasing solvent onto a cloth, wipe the damaged area, allow to dry.

MIXING RATIO: 100% by weight Bumper Filler, 2% by weight U-POL hardener for polyester filler.

POT LIFE: Once mixed, 6 minutes at 20°C with 2% hardener.

TOOLS: Mixing board, filler knife, plastic or rubber spatula.

DRYING TIME: Sandable after 30 minutes at 20°C.

OVER-PAINTING: Bumper Filler can either be over-painted with PlastX Paint System or most paint systems which are suitable for coating plastics.
