UV RESISTANT CLEAR COAT

DESCRIPTION: CLEAR 1K is a 1K, ready to use clear coat in an aerosol. It is used for finishing coated surfaces in order to achieve a high gloss, UV resistant, durable finish. A new high performance clear coat that gives 2K performance with the convenience of an aerosol. Clear 1K is the ultimate SMART repair tool it is crystal clear, has excellent build and is compatible with water-based base coats. The cured Clear 1K has excellent gloss and image depth it is ideal for spot repairs and gives a durable, UV resistant finish. Clear 1K is isocyanate free.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: CLEAR 1K can be applied using the preparation procedure shown below:

Thoroughly clean and degrease surfaces with a suitable spirit wipe or thinner such as U-POL System 20 Degreaser. Abrade solid coloured coatings wet or dry with 800-1000 abrasive, re-clean, dry and degrease. If coating solvent-based basecoats apply Clear 1K within a period 20 minutes after application of the base coat.

APPLICATION: Shake can thoroughly before use for a minimum of 2 minutes. Apply 1 - 2 light even coats. Allow 5 - 10 minutes flash off time between coats.

DRYING TIME: Allow 30 minutes before handling. Drying time is dependant upon film thickness, humidity and temperature.
