GRIP #4

Universal Adhesion Promoter

DESCRIPTION: Grip#4 is a 1K, clear, ready to use universal adhesion promoter in an aerosol. Grip#4 makes paint, adhesives or sealants stick to all auto body surfaces such as: All plastics, Aluminium, Painted Surfaces, Galvanized Sheet, Zinc, Fiberglass and Bodyfillers.

Grip#4 is used as a tie coat which promotes adhesion allowing several different surfaces to be painted at the same time thus providing uniform adhesion to repairs which contain a number of different surfaces.

Grip#4 replaces abrasion when preparing panels that are difficult to access such as door shuts, door handles recesses and bonnet struts.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Grip#4 can be applied using the preparation procedure shown below:-

• Thoroughly clean the area to be coated with detergent and water
• Dry
• Degrease with Systems 20 Slow Degreaser by applying the degreaser with a clean wipe and wiping off with a second dry clean cloth.

APPLICATION: Apply two light coats. Allow to dry

DRYING TIME: Allow 20 minutes before applying any solvent based primer, colour or clear. Drying time is dependant upon film thickness, humidity and temperature.
