1K PLASTIC PRIMER

DESCRIPTION: 1K Plastic Primer is a transparent, fast drying, universal, ready to use plastic primer which is used for preparing the surfaces of all plastics prior to the application of colour.

Using 1K Plastic Primer surfaces avoids the need to identify plaastics before coating, it is particularly effective at promoting adhesion to difficult to coat plastics such as TPO's.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Thoroughly clean and degrease surfaces with a suitable plastic cleaner such as U-POL PlastX 1.

APPLICATION: Shake can thoroughly before use. Apply 1-2 light even coats. Allow 5-10 minutes flash off time between coats.

DRYING TIME: Allow 20 minutes at 20°C, 10 minutes at 60°C before overcoating. Drying time is dependant upon film thickness, humidity and temperature.

OVER-PAINTING: 1K Plastic Primer should be directly overcoated within 1 hour of application with a suitable primer filler or surfacer.
