SMC

Fibre reinforced filler for SMC, fibre glass, composite and other rigid plastics.

DESCRIPTION:

• A flexible high adhesion filling compound specifically designed for the rapid simple repair of cracks, holes and scratches in rigid plastics such as fibre glass, SMC, BMC and DMC.
• The compound contains fibre reinforcement which gives structural strength to a repair.
• Formulation contains carbon fibre.
• Once hardened the repair may be sanded and coated to restore the original finish.
• Available in white and black.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: SMC, Fibre reinforced siller can be used on the following surfaces:-

• Rigid plastics: SMC, GRP, Glass fibre, Polyester Filler - Abrade with P120
• Bare metal: steel, aluminium or zinc coated steel - abrade with P80.

Following abrasion clean and degrease thoroughly.

MIXING RATIO: 100 PARTS BY WEIGHT smc fIBRE REINFORCED FILLER WITH 2-3 PARTS BY WEIGHT u-pol.

POT LIFE: Once mixed 4-6 minutes at 20°C with 2% hardener.

TOOLS: Mixing board, filler knife, plastic or rubber spatula.

DRYING TIME: Sandable after approximately 20 minutes at 20°C.

OVER-PAINTING: SMC Fibre reinforced filler can be over-painted with most paint systems.
